About the Site Platform and an Unsolicited Plug for our Hosts. The new NTAP site is created on an open source content management system called Drupal. It is very easy to use and administer. We are excited about the ability to support blogging on technology issues. It offers exceptional functionality: training modules, administration, navigation, newsletters, etc..

Best of all, it is cheap and easy to maintain. We have our site hosted by Mayfirst / PeopleLink. They are an organization of progressive people who use the Internet. Their main mission is to help social justice movements use the Internet effectively to communicate with each other and with the world. As a nonprofit, their hosting rates are $200 a year.  Mayfirst / PeopleLink also built the Drupal site for our needs (very affordably -- about $6000.00). They did an exceptional job and now stand as the most responsive, timely and committed vendors we have worked with — public or private.
